‘North Sea Stories’

The Ropewalk Gallery on the banks of the Humber Estuary. Exploring how oil extraction and production is intertwined with photography, time, memory, family and erosion. Inspired my late-father’s working life as an offshore oil worker and his photography of the North Sea oil and gas boom.

‘Steel Islands’ 

The Modernist Gallery, Manchester. Photos of early generation drilling rigs and platforms during the 1970’s North Sea oil and gas boom by AJ Stow and the towering offshore wind turbines of today by LK Stow.
